Client Need

To expand their product reach and streamline their data operations, a Consumer Marketing company sought to supplement their current foreclosure data content with assessor data in an automated manner.  

Solution

After a series of data and process-related brainstorming sessions, it became apparent that the client could exceed their goals by replacing multiple data sources with a single data file. The new file includes foreclosure data, tax assessor data, and the current market value for each associated foreclosure record. Instead of utilizing multiple sources for data, the client now receives one complete data file, updated and delivered daily via FTP.

Results

With a daily file of blended data, the client eliminated multiple data vendors, streamlined and automated what was once a highly labor intensive data abstraction and manipulation process and reduced the associated cost of those activities. In addition to operational cost savings, the single file approach delivered a 400% expansion of geographic coverage.
